Sharkey's World Hall of Fame Rules & Guidelines
Voting on the Hall of Fame will take place each & every off season. Players are eligible for election the year they retire. Team Owners are eligible for election as soon as they are no longer part of the world, or once they've put in ten years of service in Sharkey's World.
After the world rolls over and retirements are announced, every owner in the league will have until the end of Free Agency (6 days) to nominate any retired player for a spot on the Hall of Fame ballot.
After that, a full blog post detailing each nominated players career will be posted. At which time, all owners in the league will have one week to vote yes or no for every player.
Once the voting closes, any player with 70% or more of the votes in his favor will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Any player with 50% or more of the votes in his favor will remain on the ballot the following season. Players on the ballot a second time must get at least 60% of the vote to remain on for a third season.
A player may only be on the Hall of Fame ballot three times.
